He was predeceased by: his son Kendall Calvin Stevenson Jr.; his grandfathers, Joseph "Keno" Stevenson and John Adam Trahan Sr.; and his cousins, Dravin Stevenson and Kevin Stevenson.
He is survived by: his family, Lady Love, Sophisticated Lady, Myke Money and Big Sam; his wife Lakeshia Kennedy Stevenson; his sons, Kaden Stevenson, Daramais Roy and Isaiah Montgomery; his siblings, Chad Stevenson (Trina) of Lafayette, LA, Joshua Stevenson of Lafayette, LA, Desmond George (Laura) of Lafayette, LA and Renee Hill (Richard) of Breaux Bridge, LA; his parents, Martha Stevenson and John Adam Trahan Jr. (Mary); and his grandmothers, Viola Dugas and Georgiana Gary. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 7, 2022, at Syrie Funeral Home from 9:30 a. m. until 10:30 a. m. All those in attendance must wear masks or face coverings.
In 2019, he was named an African American Heritage Foundation Honoree for his outstanding accomplishment with starting an annual Ball honoring past, present, and up and coming DJ's.
