Laura Duplechain Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura Duplechain (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on January 24, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Alex Soileau; her husband Chris Duplechain; her daughter Marie Elaine Duplechain; her mother Amy Soileau of Evangeline Parish; and her siblings, Hester Soileau Stagg, George Soileau, Cliff Soileau, Harry Soileau and Carrie Soileau Singleton.
She is survived by: her children, Michael T. Duplechain (Marcia) of Hendersonville, NC, Virginia D. Riley (Kelly), Christine E. Kimmel (Gary) of Spring, TX and Sandra D. West (Troy) of Alexandria, LA; her brother Huey P. Soileau of Angleton, TX; her grandchildren, Tiffany Grace Chiarulli (Kelly), Amanda Kimmel Chance (Tyler), Marlin Kimmel (Sammy), Chris West (Kristy), Luke Kimmel (Catherine), Zachary West (Ashley), Spencer West, Midori and David West; and also, Delores Babineaux, Roberta Wilkerson, Eunice Pitre, Rebecca Senegal and Esther Broussard. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
