It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence C. Mattei Jr. of Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on December 7, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence C. Mattei Sr. and Dorothy Eckleman Mattei; and his former wife Patricia Foret Mattei. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Hicks Mattei of Lafayette, LA; his son Troy Mattei (Timothy Miller) of Houston, TX; his stepdaughter Raven Veillon-Skrmetti (Thomas) of Opelousas, LA; and his grandchildren, Lilith and Owen Skrmetti.
