He was predeceased by: his parents, Alicia Matthews and Leroy Matthews; and his siblings, Louella Green and Felton Matthews. He is survived by: his brothers, Harry Lee Matthews (Mona) and Ronnie Matthews (Lovenia). He is also survived by five sisters.
