Leslie was predeceased by: mother Barbara Duplein Smith; brother Wallace Paul Schexnayder; stepfather Butch "Smitty" Smith; and father-in-law Edward Richard. Leslie is survived by: husband Kristopher "Shoepick" Richard; children, Jason Hynson of Duson, Broc Richard of Duson, McKinsi Richard of Duson and Gage Schexnayder of Duson; father Harry "Bozo" Schexnayder, Sr. of Lafayette; brothers, Harry Schexnayder, Jr. (Kelly) of Bosco, Carl Schexnayder (Emilie) of Carencro and Brandon Schexnayder of Scott; and mother-in-law Judy Romero Richard of Duson.
