He was predeceased by: his parents, Camille Decuir and Victoria Decuir; his sons, Ronald James Decuir and Kevin Joseph Decuir; and his siblings, Mary Dennis, Theresa Celestine, Anna Green, Agnes Bourda, Eldora Landry, Allen Decuir, Jude Decuir and Louis Decuir, Sr..

He is survived by: his wife Lula Mae Decuir; his sons, Raymond James Decuir and Jimmy Anthony Decuir; his brother Harold Decuir; and his daughters-in-law, Terri Decuir, Xan Decuir and Lashawn Trahan. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
