She was predeceased by: her sons, Shawn Broussard and Harvey Broussard; her parents, Sidney Broussard, Sr. and Odeal Boudreaux Broussard; and her siblings, Nelson Broussard, Sr., Sidney Broussard, Jr., Clarence "Bay" Broussard, Sr., George "Tuggy" Broussard, Sr., Lois Parker, Rebecca Senegal, Louise Hebert and Arline Andrew.

She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Comeaux (Jerry), Shelia Richards-Williams (Harry), Debra Broussard, Shannon Broussard of Lafayette, LA, Darlene Dundas (Jeffery) of Atlanta, GA and Brian Broussard (Shaun) of Atlanta, GA; her brothers, Antoine "Boobie" Broussard (Betty) of Ridge, LA and William Mack "Putt" Broussard of Lafayette, LA; and her daughter-in-law Josephine Evans Broussard (Harvey) of Abbeville, LA. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
