With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorraine Istre (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on December 2, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Istre; her daughter Linda Istre; her grandson Nicholas Olivier; and her siblings, Eula, Merdis Duhon, Alex, Ellis and Emery Duhon.

She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Babineaux (Charles) of Carencro, Judy Judice (Victor) of Scott and Arlene Rushing (Michael) of Huntington, TX; and her sisters, Lena Saltzman (Kerney) of Gueydan and Rose Vincent (Dallas) of Lafayette. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
