She was predeceased by: her husband Murray L. Rabalais; her parents, Octave Guilbeau and Alma Kidder Guilbeau; her brother U. C. Guilbeau; and her nephew Warren Figueirdo.
She is survived by: her children, Luiz Figueiredo (Maria), Carlos Figueiredo and Anne Richard (Jay Clothier); her stepchildren, Dr. Murray L. Rabalais (Joan) and Karen Rabalais Olivier (Patrick); her grandchildren, Michael Rabalais, Renee Bellows, Dustin Rabalais, Cecile Rabalais, Marie O. Lukazeski, Patrick, Adam, Douglas Olivier, Melaine O. Richard, Ramona F. Foster, Mario Figueirdo, Tibby Figueirdo, Megan F. Broussard and Jamie Figueirdo; and her brother Walter Guilbeau. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in the name of Mrs. Louise G. Rabalais be made to Hospice of Acadiana Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro, 4615 North University Avenue, (337) 896-6366, is in charge of arrangements.
