Luby Duhon Smith Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Luby Duhon Smith of Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on March 24, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Duhon and Lodo Guidry; her husband John F. Smith, Jr.; and her siblings, Raywood Duhon, Stanley Duhon and Billie Duhon Hebert.

She is survived by: her children, Sylvia S. Gardiner, Patricia Smith and Micheal Smith (Gayle); her grandchildren, Pamela Sneed (Scott), Mark Smith (Julie), Margaret Gardiner, Dan Davidson, Elizabeth Wetzel, David Webb and Michael Wetzel; her great grandchildren, Paige and Jeremy Wright; and her brother Dale Duhon (Carolyn). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
