She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel May and Edgar LeRoy Way; her husband Ben Skerrett, III; and her son Ben Skerrett, IV. She is survived by: her children, Carol Ann Holloway (Douglas) of North Augusta, Jean Fouts (Lonnie) of Shreveport, Louisiana and Shelton Skerrett of Destin, Florida; her grandchildren, Bryan Holloway, Kristen Holloway, Jeffrey Holloway, Lance Fouts, Lane Fouts, Lacye Fouts White, Denny Skerrett and Stephen Bigelow; and her nephew Brian Way. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Eternal Flame, 500 Common Street, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
