It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Clare Kelley Baggett Leonard of Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Leo Kelley and Jeanne Marie Jeanmard; her brother Herman Kelley; and her former husband Jerrel Leffel Baggett. She is survived by: her husband Euris Paul Leonard; her children, Mary Jeannette Baggett Fong (Ray), James Michael Baggett, John Mark Baggett (Mary Ellen) and Jewell Baggett-Strehlau (John); and her stepchildren, Mark Leonard, Mary Ellen Baggett and Marcie Marty. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, and numerous great- grandchildren.
