With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew Gregory Carter (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on January 22, 2020 at the age of 17. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandmother Kathryn Gibson; and his nephew Cade Brenke. He is survived by: his parents, Jerry Carter and Chelline Carter of Lafayette; his siblings, Daniel Carter (Coree) of Natchitoches, Nichole Carter (Daryl Simon) of Lafayette and Christopher Carter (Hannah Bieber) of Lafayette; his godson Cody Brenke; his siblings' children, Cameron Simon, Damien Carter, Aiden Bieber, Charlotte Simon and Leanna Carter; his grandparents, Clifford, Susan Carter and Gary Gibson; his uncles, Marc Gibson (Sam) and Gregory Gibson (Sophia); and his aunt Kathi Gibson.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Matthew's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St Jude Pl, Memphis TN 38105-9959.
