He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Lambert and Eleanor Robinette; and his sister Joyce Childress. He is survived by: his wife Genevieve Baudoin Lambert; his children, Christy Landry (Gabriel Landry, III) and Micah Lambert; his grandchildren, Noah Tate, Genevieve Tate and Hayden Landry; and his siblings, Floyd Lambert, Mary Pearson, Judy Lambert and Charles Lambert.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association.
