He was predeceased by: his wife Jacqueline Hoff Traylor; his siblings, Ethel Mae Traylor Moore and Lester Traylor; his son Tommy Hoff; and his granddaughter Leslie Nicole Neece.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Traylor Romero Paul (CJ), Melvin A Traylor, Jr. (Lynn), Kathy Traylor Perry (Chan), John N. Traylor (Lisa), Cheri Hoff Minckler (Harold), Robert Hurst and William Hurst; his grandchildren, Tiffany Traylor, Matthew Traylor, Erin Broussard, Jarod Neece, Raven Neece, John Robert Traylor, Christian Traylor and Jolie Traylor; and his former wife Jamie Flory Hurst.
With the circumstances of the Covid 19 virus a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
