He was predeceased by: his parents, Merton L Latta Sr. and Ada Latta; and his son John Michael Latta (Jo Latta) of Mckinney, TX. He is survived by: his wife Dona Latta; his grandchildren, Jamie Rutherford (Dusteen) of Youngsville, Jacob Latta of Youngsville, Ryan Pratt (Kate) of Princeton, TX and Sydney Stevens (Kirk) of The Colony, TX; his great grandchildren, Madilyn Rutherford and Avery Stevens; and his close friends, Buddy and Lulu Belle.
