He was predeceased by: his wife Janie Arceneaux; his parents, Ervin Arceneaux and Agnes Arceneaux; his children, Ervin Anthony Arceneaux, Delores Chaumont and Renee Arceneaux; his grandsons, Ervin Gaspard and Clay Chaumont; and his siblings, Gilbert Arceneaux and Shirley Fontenot.

He is survived by: his children, Terry Chaumont (Linda), Dennis Chaumont (Beverly) of Edmond, OK, Pam Arceneaux of Youngsville, Jackie Pfaff (Alan) of Flower Mound, TX and Rebecca Bares (Stephen) of Youngsville; his grandchildren, Kayla Lucas, Ashleigh Wray, Kari Harper, Cammie Chaumont Menendez, Stephanie Watson, Aaron Chaumont, Claire Truong, Michael Chaumont, Alan Pfaff II, Katherine Pfaff, Janey Matt, Laura Bares, Ross Bares and Caroline Bares; his sisters, Mildred Arendt and Alberta O'Brien of Lake Charles; his grandson Terry John Chaumont; his great grandchildren, Chandler Wray and Nick Lucas; his friend Justine Simon; and also Joann Broussard. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
