She was predeceased by: her parents, Delsia Jackson Huval and Paul Benjamin, Sr.; and her siblings, Martin Benjamin, Paul Benjamin, Raymond Benjamin, Amy Benjamin, Geanie Champ, Marlene Thibeaux, Sharon Helaire and Rita Landry.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Faulk of Lafayette, LA; her children, Larry Benjamin (Jermeine) of Breaux Bridge, LA, Corey Benjamin of Atlanta, GA, Markelle Benjamin (Angela) of Lafayette, LA, Chadwick Benjamin, Sr. (Denitra) of Lafayette, LA and Danielle Campbell (Chad) of Lafayette, LA; her stepchildren, Robert Celestine of Lafayette, LA, Nieccy Gobert of Lafayette, LA and Tranessa of Lafayette, LA; and her sisters, Choyce Thibeaux of Breaux Bridge, LA, Debra Benjamin of Lafayette, LA, Gwendolyn Brown (Steve) of Humble, TX and Susie Mcelwee (Roy) of Punta Gorda, FL. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
