He was predeceased by: his parents, Duncan Noel Covington and Anna Jones Covington; his wife Kathryn Thompson Covington of Virginia; and his siblings, Christine Vianna Covington, Duncan Cicero Covington and James Howard Covington.
He is survived by: his children, Noel Jones Covington Jr. (Terri) of Lafayette, LA, Cynthia West (Eric) of Roswell, GA and Kathryn La Combe (David) of New Windsor, NY; his grandchildren, Sean Noel Covington, Gretchen Covington, Christopher West and William Noel LaCombe; his great grandchildren, Evan Noel Covington, Ethan Covington, Chloe Prindel, Samuel Prindel and Joel Prindel; his great great grandchild Savannah Kathryn Covington; and his close friend Bessye Perkins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Shrock United Methodist Church, PO Box 246, Goodman MS 39079.
