She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Jerry" Sonnier of Lyons Point; and her siblings, Anna Bell David of Scott, Ophed Abshire of Crowley, Pearly Guidry of Lyons Point and Leroy Abshire of Milton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
