She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Doris White and Ernestine Broussard White; her son Jason Edmond Dugas; her brother Eldridge White; her parents-in-law, Leurline T. Dugas and Eluse E. Dugas; and her niece Elizabeth Trahan Korf.

She is survived by: her husband Rodney James Dugas of Erath; her sons, Jude Gerard (Donna-Sue) of Lafayette and Mitchell Gerard (Rachel) of Gulf Breeze, Florida; her grandchildren, Sophie Lin, Melody Grace, Joseph Parker and James Clark; her sibling's children, Charmaine Swearingen (Stan), Anna Trahan (Fred), James White, John Trahan (Sandy) and Donald Trahan (Tina); her sister-in-law Elsie Faye (Carlin Trahan); her nephews, Nathan Jerome Thibodeaux and Edward James Thibodeaux; and her friends, Brenda Calkins, Cherelle Thibodeaux, Dr. Michael Cain, Dr. Jason Breaux, Dr. Bradley Chastant II, Dr. Jody Rosson and Dr. Michael Alexander. She is also survived by friends and extended family.
