She was predeceased by : her mother Dorothy Rubin Alex; her sister Charolette Breaux Senegal; and her grandparents, Agnes, Paul Breaux, Sr., Charlie and Evelia Rubin.

She is survived by : her husband Edward Butler, Jr.; her children, Chassity, Alona Breaux and Devin Ledet of Lafayette, LA; her grandchildren, Christian James, Cherish Breaux, Caysen Breaux and Amarian Smothers; her father Paul Breaux, Jr.; and her sisters, Brenda Breaux (Jack) and Gwendolyn Breaux (Charles). She is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, attendees must wear masks and practice social distancing at the church and cemetery.
