It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Ann Willis (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on November 6, 2020, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva Willis and Milton Alex, Sr.; her son John Cedric Willis; her grandparents, Isabella Portalis and Wilbert Willis (Gilbert Gabriel Williams Sr.); and her siblings, Sheila Willis, Mary Carmella Willis, Gary Willis, Michael Todd Willis and Corey Willis.
She is survived by: her daughter Ladavion Willis (Jason); her grandchildren, NaMyah Cedrian Willis, Rakyah Cedrinae Willis, DesMoni Paige Isadore, Kaidence Ski Willis, Jaiya N. Francis, Cayden Cedric Willis and Rylan Andrew Parker; and her siblings, Stacey Willis, Vella Willis of Lafayette, LA, Cynthia Wilkins (Junius) of California, Vanessa Smith (Carl) of Broussard, LA, Troy Willis-Anderson (Yolanda) of Baton Rouge, LA, Tory Willis of Lafayette, LA, Milton Alex Jr. of Lafayette, LA and Anthony Alex (Elvis Hamilton) of Lafayette, LA.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 20, 2020 at Syrie Funeral Home from 8:30 a. m. until 10:30 a. m. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all attendees must wear masks or face coverings.
