It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Randell Gathe of Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on August 16, 2020, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, John Kerry Gathe, Adonia Patin, Andrew Gathe and Anita Gathe; his grandparents, Aaron Alex Gathe and Mary Leona Gathe; his uncles, Wilfred Gathe, Davis Gathe and Frankie Gathe; his sister Jeanie Rector; his nephew Gannon Sam; and his cousins, Jamie Gathe, Jaylin Gathe and Kameron Gathe.

He is survived by: his mother Nita Gathe; his girlfriend Bernice Alexander; his stepchildren, Dedrick Willliams, Brandon Jones, Kentrelle Jones, Alexe Alexander, Alicia Broussard and Alaysie Broussard; his siblings, Jessie Gathe, Sr. (Tina), Julian Davis Gathe, Sr. (Britney) and Summer Thibodeaux (Jessie); his siblings' children, Kirsten Gathe, Tamira Guidroz, Tira Guidroz, Mya Gathe, Eyriel Oliver, Alex Gathe, Jessie Gathe, Jr., Kayden Babineaux and Julian Davis Gathe, Jr.; his aunt Betty Gathe (Johnny); his uncle Harry Gathe (Sheila); and his cousins, Joe, Joni, Jeanie, Jatoya, Jamal, Liz, Erin, Jessica, Tarissa, Larissa, Carissa and Frankie, Jr..
