He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Dugas and Manuel Dugas, Sr.; his brother Lester Dugas, Sr.; his grandparents, Octavia Dugas, Matte Watley and Joshua Dugas; and his aunts and uncles, Ataily Selectman, Georgeana Dugas, Helen Bob, Isabella Dugas, Annabelle "Boo", Jerome Dugas, Sr., Richard Dugas, Preston Dugas and Calvin Dugas.

He is survived by: his wife Bessie Dugas; his daughter Precus Dugas; his stepchildren, Meg Kern, Jacqueline Cummings, Bradley Scales and Anthony Cummings; his grandchildren, Kendell, Kentrell, A'Nique, Marley, Kamarah, Jaden, Travone, Mike, Mitchell, Karen and Raquavious; and his brothers, Manuel Dugas, Jr. and Samuel Dugas. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
