She is survived by: her husband Carl Gale; her mother Agnes Demouchet Batiste; her children, Nakia Green (Meagan), Kristie Alexander (Kendrick) and Casey Batiste (Christopher); her grandson Reghan Undre Alexander of Breaux Bridge, LA; her siblings, Prenella Batiste-Charles of Lafayette, LA, Norma James (Raymond), Tammy Lewis of St. Martinville, LA, Arthur Batiste (Jeanice) of Lafayette, LA, Lionel, John Allen, Vincent Batiste of Breaux Bridge, LA and Camille Batiste (Shirley) of Evans, GA; her godchildren, Terence Batiste and Ja'Kyla Noel; her aunts, Sophie Shy and Linda Ledet (Wil Bradley) of Breaux Bridge, LA; her uncle James Demouchet of Breaux Bridge, LA; and her sister-in-law Juanita Aguillard Batiste of Breaux Bridge, LA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
