It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard D. Nunez (Lafayette, Louisiana), born in Lake Arthur, Louisiana, who passed away on February 26, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Lena Grace Kilchrist Nunez; his parents, Rodolph Cody Nunez and Irene Seaux Nunez; his siblings, Saul Sonnier, Reule Sonnier, Harry Sonnier, Minos Sonnier and Yvonne Sonnier Broussard (Leo); and his niece Tina Clostio Broussard (Johnny).
He is survived by: his son Danny Nunez of Lafayette; his sister Rosa Belle Clostio of Kaplan; and his sibling's children, Charlotte Detraz (Johnny) of Abbeville and Regan Clostio of Kaplan.
