With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard E. D'Aquin Sr. of Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on January 22, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Mayeux D'Aquin; his parents, Edmond D'Aquin Sr. of New Orleans and Louise D'Aquin of New Orleans; and his siblings, Edmund D'Aquin Jr. of Crowley, Robert D'Aquin of Lake Arthur and Catherine Williams of Lafayette.

He is survived by: his grandsons, David D'Aquin, Richard E. D'Aquin III, Elliott Grissom, Matthew Grissom, Scott Grissom and Stephen Grissom; and his children, Richard D'Aquin Jr., Deborah Grissom (Ken) of Lafayette and Ann Derise (Mark) of Lafayette. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Hospice of Acadiana.
