He is survived by: his children, Richard, Jr. (Tonia), Byron (Deann), Jarell Pierre (Andreneka), Derrick Telfair and Neichelle Telfair; his brother Alex Pierre, Jr.; his cousin Marion "Mamee" Jones; his godchildren, Tracy Butler and Laquan Crandle; and his cousins, Shirley and Elaine Pierre. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and devoted friends.
