He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Wallace Truxell; his parents, Ralph Eugene and Malvina Larson Truxell; and his brother Theodore Ralph Truxell. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Todd Truxell (Gail) of Arnaudville, Richard William Truxell of Houston, Linda Gail Truxell of Lafayette, Lori Ann Truxell of Houston and Patty Truxell Sellers (Philip) of Youngsville; his sister Roberta Clausen of Genoa, NE; his sister-in-law Jo Truxell of Pueblo, CO; his grandchildren, Andrew, Michelle Sellers, Sarah and Katie Truxell; and his great grandchild Channing Rose McNeil. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Robert was active in his community, belonging to the Arbor Day Foundation and the Geological Association.
