It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stella Bernard Bourges (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on September 15, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clayton Bourges, Sr.; her parents, Jules Bernard and Anita Bernard (Alexander); and her siblings, Joseph Bernard, Solange Bernard, Rhea Bernard, Helen Bernard, Elvina Bernard, Hazel Bernard, Mildred Bernard and Hilda Bernard.

She is survived by: her son Clayton Bourges, Jr. (Alva); her grandson Clayton III of Herndon, VA; her daughter Sharon (Kurt D. Jones) of Pensacola, FL; her grandchildren, Attorney Dominic Jones of Atlanta, GA, Kaylen of Gainesville, FL and Kourtney Jones of Baton Rouge, LA; and her great grandchild Kamryn Jones of Atlanta, GA.. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
