We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2020, at the age of 94, Sudie Stephens in Lafayette, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Carl C. Stephens; and her grandson Edwin Blake Stephens. She is survived by: her children, William Horace "Steve" Stephens (Kathy), Derrel W. Stephens (Linda), Waymon "Keith" Alsup (Melissa) and Carolyn "Carol" Stephens Overbey (Dan) of Lafayette, LA; her sister Comalea "Bea" Smart (Chalres) of Anacoco, LA; and her grandchildren, Michael "Jeffrey" Stephens, Cody Stephens, Sara Stephens Carr, Rustin Stephens, Brad Alsup, Delisha Alsup Sims, Jessica Overbey, Mark Overbey and Stephanie Overbey.
