She is survived by: her husband Walter Derouselle; her parents, Anna Hawkins (Clausey Noel) and Handsom Hawkins (late Geraldine Hawkins); her children, Jamalya Hawkins, Ja'Kiera Hawkins (Elonza Potier) and Javin Derouselle (Jamira Derouselle); her stepdaughter Destiny Brown; her grandchildren, Ja'Kalen Potier, Alonna Potier, Braylen Potier, Jaycee Derouselle, Armoni Hawkins and Harmony Hawkins; her stepgrandchildren, Segan Celestine, Syeah Celestine, Chad Perrodin Jr. and Kane Perrodin; her siblings, Ladasha Noel (Harry Noel), Nieg Chevalier (Darnell Chevalier), Ashley Hawkins and Clausey Hawkins (Clarissa Hawkins); and her godchildren, Christopher Faulk Jr. and Heaven Hawkins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Syrie Funeral Home (1417 E Simcoe St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
