He was predeceased by: his wife Della Gerard; his parents, Marie and Jules Girard, Sr.; his siblings, Jay, Gilbert, Ulysse Sr., Willis, Jules Girard, Jr., Angelle Richard, Lorita Hebert, Bertha Guidroz and Dorothy David; and his granddaughter Crystal Rose Gerard.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Guilbeau (Bobby) and Anthony Gerard, Sr.; his sister Rita Troy; his grandchildren, Jared Guilbeau, Andre Guilbeau, Randall Gerard (Jennifer), Madelene Fluharty (Aaron) and Anthony Gerard, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Bijou Gerard and Luna Rose Fluharty; and his close friend Lois Patin.
