She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Alexander and Oraleeta Jones; and her grandchild Ace. She is survived by: her husband David Sampy of Lafayette; her children, Sean Sampy, Hannah Sampy and Rachel Sampy; her stepchildren, Donavon Sampy and Javon Sampy; her grandchildren, Dasani, Mason, Camden, Lariyah, Myrie, Kyrie, Serenity and Sincere; her siblings, Albert "Kirk" Alexander, Tedrick "Ted" Alexander, Frederick Alexander (Cindy), Glenda Thomas, Geralyn Lewis (Carlton) and Sylvia Jones (Barry); and also Wanda Rousse. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
