We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2022, at the age of 89, Viola Francis Jackson (Lafayette, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Jackson; her sons, Rivers, David and Don Jackson; her granddaughter Dasha Jackson; her parents, Adam Francis and Lillian Francis; her sibling's children, Debra Duhon and Leonard Wiltz; and her great-niece Consuella McCain.
She is survived by: her sister Velma Wiltz; her daughter Brenda Jackson (Mike); her grandchildren, Raymond Jackson (Tara), Gensilyn Jackson (Shawn) and Rivers Sam; her great grandchildren, Mi'Unique Richard, Alyria, Alayiah and Alaysia Jackson; her godchild Adonis Benjamin; her close friend Emma Dugas; and also Drucilla Sam. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Syrie Funeral Home from 10:00 a. m. until 11:00 a. m. All attendees must wear masks or face coverings.
