Viola Mary Dugas Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Viola Mary Dugas (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on February 14, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Abel Dugas Sr. and Laura Martin-Dugas; her children, Rose Marie Stevenson, Kathy Stevenson, Eugene Walker, Joseph Stevenson and Willie Stevenson; her grandsons, Kevin Stevenson and Kendall Stevenson; her great grandchild Dravin Malveaux Stevenson; and her siblings, Evelyn Mitchell, Gladys Bernard, Abel Dugas Jr., Allen Dugas and Leo Dugas.
She is survived by: her children, Sally Stevenson-Jones, Martha Stevenson, Mary Stevenson and David Stevenson (Nicole); and her siblings, Margaret Lapointe, Doris Size and Joseph Dugas Sr.. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 25, 2022, at Syrie Funeral Home from 8:30 a. m. until 10:30 a. m. All those in attendance must wear masks or face coverings.
