He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Brignac and Jules Brignac; his sons-in-law, Jim McGuirt and Bobby Overfelt; and his great grandchild Mylah Overfelt.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Brignac of Lafayette; his daughters, Sheila Marie (Carl James Simon) of Lafayette, Elizabeth Kim (Brian Bare) of Lafayette, Hilda Marie (Jerry Overfelt) of Duson and Donna S. Schnauder of Scott; and his brothers, Kearnie Brignac of Eunice, Louis Brignac of Schriever and Norman Brignac of Jeanerette. He is also survived by five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
