She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Granger and Helen Marie Granger; her husband Milton Will Benoit; her daughter Mary Elaine Benoit; and her brothers, Rufus and Roy Granger.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Milton Benoit (Barbara) of Lafayette and Lafayette Fire Chief Robert P.; her grandchildren, Donovan Benoit, Robert P. Benoit, Jr. (Kelly), Jeremy N. Benoit, Brittney N. Benoit and Courtney L. Benoit; her great grandchildren, Brianna, Cairo, Melody, Mia, Cali, Xuri and Xhane; and her nephew Raymond Granger of Port Arthur, Texas.
In Lieu of Flowers, the Family request that donations are sent to the Miles Perret Cancer Center in honor of Yola Marie Granger.
