He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Palma and Mary Marcello Palma; his sister Marie Palma; and his brother-in-law Fred Murphy. He is survived by: his significant other Margaret; his children, John Palma (Cindy), Judy Fitzpatrick (Shawn), Linda Farner (Jay) and James Palma (Diana); his grandchildren, Michael Palma (Rachel), Dr. Christine Palma Mauk (Kyle), Kristian Farner (Jordan McColm), McKenzie Fitzpatrick, Connor Fitzpatrick (Lila) and Jason Farner; his great grandchildren, Graham, Madison Fitzpatrick, Jeremy Harvey, Jade Farner, Charlotte Farner and Lola Mauk; his sister Beni Murphy; and his close friends, Gayle Zembower and Willie Moreno. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A rosary will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church (3939 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A burial will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Consolata Cemetery (2300 Country Club Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70605).
