She was predeceased by: her parents, Delma McClelland and Eula Vidrine McClelland; her husband Ernie Duplechin; and her brother Donnie. She is survived by: her children, Jackie Holmes (Dickie), Steve Duplechin (Debbie), Donna Daughenbaugh (David), Sheila Rothermel (Kurt) and Scott Duplechin (Nicole); her grandchildren, Jeremy Duplechin (Stacy), Kyle Holmes (Tiffany), Allyson Schexnyder (Joshua), Laura Holmes, Meagan, Blair Ringo (Jon), Kelly Thompson (Jason), Jordan Daughenbaugh (Taylor), Kate Hubbard (Damian), Lauren Reiners (Bradley), Courtney Duplechin, Cade Daughenbaugh (Jen), John Rothermel (Caroline), Alex Smith (Ryan) and Elizabeth Rothermel; and her siblings, Jack McClelland and Judy Porter (Johnny). She is also survived by great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Baptist Church (1800 Country Club Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Consolata Cemetery (2300 Country Club Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70605).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse or Louisiana Baptist Children's Home.
