She was predeceased by: her parents, William JC Dickens and Lucy Anna Potter Dickens; and her brothers, David and Robert. She is survived by: her husband Donald O. Gorum; her children, Donna Gorum Glenn (Robert) of Metairie and Brian Gorum (Amy) of Vernal, Utah; her grandson Johnathan Glenn of Baton Rouge; and her sisters, Lynn, Barbara Dickens (David) of Sulphur and Addi Lou Gorum (Jerry) of Calhoun. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Trinity Baptist Church (1800 Country Club Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
