He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrie Duplantis and C. J. Duplantis; his sons, Wilson Duplantis and Austin Duplantis; his siblings, Scottie Duplantis, Dickie Duplantis and Julie Smith; and his nephew Brady Duplantis.

He is survived by: his son Dallas Duplantis; his grandchildren, Gaidge Duplantis, Sebastian Duplantis, Brelin Duplantis, Casen Duplantis and Gabriella Breaux; his great grandchild Deaton Duplantis; his brother Steven Duplantis; and his sibling's children, Scott, Carrie Duplantis, Jessica, Jeff Smith and Krissy Duplantis.
