He was predeceased by: his wife Virgie Poole; his parents, Edith Beatrice and Edgar Poole, Sr.; and his siblings, Garland Poole, Charolette Cooley and Curtis Poole.
He is survived by: his children, Belinda Rowland (Jimmy) and Kevin Poole; his siblings, Sharon Comeaux (Toby) and Larry Poole (Joan); and his grandchildren, Keisha Smith (Dalton), Ashlee Rivett, Justin Poole (Christen), Alissa McClure (Brandon), Triston Poole (Olivia) and Garrett Poole (Kara). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
