She was predeceased by : her parents, Juan Boothe and Mildred Boothe of Harrisonburg; and also Janice Grissom of Denison, Iowa.. She is survived by : her children, Tammy Hamernick (John Hamernick) of Lake Charles, Darrin Nugent of Lake Charles, Katrina Nugent of Lake Charles and Charla Elms (Nathan Elms) of Charlotte, NC; and her siblings, Joel Boothe (Linda) of Alexandria, Carl Boothe (Shirley) of Raleigh, Carolyn Craft (Eugene) of DeRidder and Pamela Stockwell (Wayne) of Ovieda. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Livingway Pentecostal Church (1617 E McNeese St, Lake Charles, LA 70607). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 7:00 PM. A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Harrisonburg Cemetery.
