With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Enola Bourgeois of Lake Charles, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 8, 2025 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Duplechain and Hyacinth Thibodeaux Duplechain; her husband Blanco of Rose's Café; her grandson Ben Allen Monroe; her siblings, J. D. Duplechain and Gertie Mae Higginbotham; and her brother-in-law Tommy Bourgeois.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph N. Bourgeois, Jr. (Liz), Anthony Bourgeois (May Rose) and Samuel Bourgeois; and her grandchildren, Tyler Bourgeois, Kendale Jones (David), Seth Davies, Kara Jones and Annette Jones. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
