He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Cart and Inez Lantz Cart; his wife Bobbie Latiolais Cart; and his daughter Sherry Renee Cart Lyons. He is survived by: his sister Shelby Cart Lafleur of Lafayette; his children, Kimberly Cart Ardoin (CJ), Kristi Cart Fontenot (Matt), Rusty Cart (Susan) and Kevin Cart (Michele); and his son-in-law Steve Lyons.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A Mass was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church (3939 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Consolata Cemetery (2300 Country Club Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70605).
