He was predeceased by: his former wife Karen McBurney DeRosier; his parents, Paul DeRosier and Helen Miller DeRosier; and his siblings, Helena Head, Dolores "Tiki" DeRosier, Paulie DeRosier and Francis Joseph DeRosier.
He is survived by: his wife Leigh Cross DeRosier; his children, James "Jimmy" DeRosier (Mili) and Britany Puckett; his granddaughter Hannah Faye DeRosier; his stepson Alexander Miles; and his siblings, Robert DeRosier (Claudia) and Elaine DeRosier.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:40 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home - Lake Charles (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church (3939 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605).
