He is survived by : his children, Shawndell Broussard-Turner (Willie), LaDonna Broussard-LeDay (Greg), LaCara Broussard, Akayla Broussard, Richard "Cookie" Pete and John W. Broussard, III (Rita); his siblings, Joyce Simien, Joseph (Alice), Gerald (Andretta), Donald Broussard, Ronald Broussard and Darrell Broussard; his grandchildren, NaShira Broussard, KeShawn Broussard, KeAndre Turner, KeMonté Broussard, Jaisley Burnett, Jayden Broussard, Kaitlyn Turner, Juliana Desormeaux, Kamden Broussard and Aniyah Broussard; his great grandchild Kaylee Broussard; and his nephew Harold Stevens. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
