She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Leo Gayle and Merle Blevins Gayle; her daughter Sally Anne Tyler Rice; and her sisters, Dorothy "Dottie" Gayle Eisenman and Mary Evelyn Gayle Bell.
She is survived by: her husband Jan Tyler; her daughters, Barrie Page (Robert) of Arlington, TX and Susan Dishington (Andrew) of Miami, Florida; her grandchildren, Tyler Page, Andrew, Scott and Catherine Dishington; her brother Joseph Leo Gayle, Jr. (Mary Stoker Gayle); her brothers-in-law, Tim Eisenman and Stephen Bell; and her nieces and nephews, Jessica, Emily, Matthew, Laura, Stephen and Dorothy.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (935 Bilbo St, Lake Charles, LA 70602). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Consolata Catholic Cemetery (2300 Country Club Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70605).
